If a guy you like smokes what do you do?

i was at my park and i saw a guy who was cute. then i got to know him and hiz friend all of a sudden he picks up a cig and lights it b4 you know hes asking me if i wanted some. of course i refused it and said maybe we could hang out over by the toddler sec. where my stuff is and we could chat he refused to move and here comes my family yelling at me to stay away. point is he smokes and i dont know what to say. any advice?
