It sounds like behind your back, they are embarred to admit they go anywhere with you, if they have somewhere they think is better to go to ; but when they don't have a hot party to attend, only THEN do they not want you to forget them. Either way, it sounds like you are always their second choice, only they will never say that to your face! I would not be too concerned about what they think of you ; they are not what you could call "good friends."
