Why is bleach so confusing?

Yes this can be confusing, and its the fillers that are the confusing part, its like when a filler starts it seems like a different story all together were no one has any idea what they were just doing( like being in the hollows then not anymore and back in it) yes its confusing as ****. But most of the time they are back tracking and showing you something from the past or a catch up episode for people who havne't seen the show in a while
