Cute or creepy?

I'm planning on having 7 bridesmaids. I've picked a dress I like, which will probably be what we go with, unless someone absolutely can't stand it. Wedding colors are red, white and black, and the men will be wearing black tuxes with red vests and ties. I was planning on having my girls in red dresses, but when I planned it out, it looked so monotone with so many bridesmaids. I thought, maybe I could have two of them wear black dresses, in the same style. I don't want it to be even--I would like more red than black. Do you like this idea, or have a better one?
