A Question for my Black Brother's and Sista's?

Why do so many of us make such a big deal of our brothers and sisters (mostly sisters)bleaching there skin when Caucasians and Hispanics go in tanning salons?do you think them tanning there skin is as bad as us bleaching are skin?if you think about it its equal right?considering they both cause cancer,and they obviously both not happy with the way god made them considering there trying to get lighter or darker Viceversa?I mean a lot of white people think tanner /bronzed skin(to an extent) is better and a lot of blacks think lighter/whiter skin (to an extent )is better so whats so is bleaching our skin really as bad as we make it seem?must i add in that both bleaching creams and tanning salons cost a lot of money.
