Oh, yeah, everyone I know has had a candle wax issue. Get as much of the wax up as possible, ice it, if possible, first and pick it out of the carpet. Then, get a brown paper bag or paper towels, lay it over the remaining wax and iron the bag/paper towels. The wax will be absorbed into the paper. It works great.
