Well, since you recently grad it's safe to ume you aren't old enough to hit the bars just yet. I never had that many friends in high school to begin with, then after I grad it only got worse. I did however attend cosmetology school where I met the best friends I have right now. So, college or some trade school is one way, getting a job is another since you also say money is tight you can make new friends and make money at the same time lol. Well for everyone its different. Both genders can be shallow and only look for looks while others care about who the other person is. For me I have to have an initial physical attraction to a girl. I can only answer one question, sorry. I have had my red Shine for almost a month and I love it. Yes, I think it is a good phone. It's easy to use/figure out. It takes decent pictures (I only use the pics I take with it for backdrops or to send my husband pics of the kids while he's away on business though - I don't do prints or uploads off them.) The battery is great IF you don't do a lot of extra things like use the phone as an alarm (I sometimes use mine as a backup) b/c that burns up the energy fast. Overall, I like mine. I just use it to talk though. I only text a few times a month to my husband. If I did it a lot I'd probably want another phone b/c the ons on this one are small and close together. I find that a pain when texting.

Problem with amp turning on and off?

For some reason my amp likes to turn on and off when it feels like it(kenwood KAC-9104D). No protect light or anything. Just off. It will do this very randomly. I have checked everything, all wiring, everything is in place no shorts. Now I checked the battery voltage when the amp shut off and it read 12.5v, while car was running. People tell me my alt is going because they say no matter what even with an amp hooked up it should be between 13.5-14.4v. Now this is on a brand new battery because I was having electrical problems where if I turned on my lights everything would dim out and the car would stall. Ive had new battery for 2 weeks now and it hasnt happened yet but people insist that my alt is going and its going to happen again soon. Do you think my alt is causing all these problems? Also 1 more thing, about a month ago a nut for my alt mount fell off and the alt was getting knocked around pretty badly, so could that have broken something internally?

My dad used to live in Bordeaux as a child. It is pretty nice there, depending on really where you live. I think that Paris is very pretty, but the people aren't too friendly. Apartments are fairly expensive in that particular area, but it is quite worth it. There are beautiful beaches in Saint Tropez. It just depends really on what you are looking for though. The French government take care of their people, as does most every other European government. You see they will pay for health care, college (if you have the grades), etc, but taxes are through the nose. Tax rates are around 30%, but you won't be able to tell when you are buying items because it's all included in the price there. They actually aren't that obsessed with religion. They don't have a democracy, they have a prime minister that is appointed by a president. Also, to get in you will need some sort of purpose... they won't just let you in. You can get a green card, but you will have to do quite a bit of persuading. You asked about unemployment... in France, it's about 8.5%. Lastly, (I should have put this up near the top, but here it is... hehe) to get around, you will need to learn a bit of French. You won't have to be fluent, just you need to know enough to order lunch, pay bills and taxes, and talk to cops you you get pulled over, etc. Make sure you learn properly! French is harder than Spanish to learn, but in the longrun, it's not all that hard. You can't just phonetically sound out words though, for example, the way they use the letter x in the word faux, fake. Yeah... Good Luck ;)

Alright so I live on an Island in North Carolina, 3 months out of the year (summer) there is an unlimited amount of things to do. The other 9 months of the year is pure hell. It's completely desolate down here in the winter and no one down here is really worth hanging out with because they are all caught up in doing coke and partying all night every night. That's not what I want to do with my life, when I'm in my late 20's early 30's I don't want to be wasting my life away partying all the time to make myself happy. I was always a smart kid in school but never was that interested probably had a C average, got kicked out of high school about 4 years ago because of girl problems (its a long story). Moved down here to the beach with my father and started a fresh new life. I got my GED scoring in the top 97%, I'm a pretty smart kid as I said. I've always wanted to join the military since I was a kid, and I have recently decided to join the United States Army. I played Tournament-level hockey for 7-8 years when I was younger, and played high school lacrosse for a year so I have played sports my entire life, and was VERY good at hockey. Every winter down here has progressively gotten worse so I decided to join the Army and get the hell out of here, experience the world, find out what I want to do for the rest of my life and get a college degree for it... My question to anyone who is reading this god forsaken long paragraph (sorry haha), is not too brief but I'll make a long story short. I can be confident at times, but recently my self-esteem and confidence as definatly been at an all time low. I know I'm a good looking guy, I am physically fit weighing around 160lbs at 5'8"(more or less height wise)and am all muscle. However I have always had a problem with accepting things the way they are, like illegalized marijuana, how the world revolves around money, and so many other things I cannot list. Not irrational things, but evidently thing that I myself cannot change. I constantly underestimate myself which is 1 of my weakness's. However I can be very tough and very decisive when I want to be. I am like 99% sure I want to join the army. My main problem is taking things out of proportion, worrying too much and stressing about things that seem big to me right now but end up they arn't that big of a deal. I think the army will get me back to my peak physical condition, as well as many other things I have been wanting to achieve for the past 2 years that I haven't played any sports. I guess I can be insecure or something idk, if you met me in person and/or saw a picture of me you probably wouldn't believe what I'm saying but sadly it's true lol. If anyone has any words of guidance or even better, wisdom please don't hesitate to post. Sorry for the length of this question, I don't come on here much, only when I have noone to talk to and really have a problem at hand. I feel like I need to take control of my own life and stop worrying about at other people would think, or anything like that. Please help me identify this Texas tree!?

I have 2 of these trees growing on either side of the porch of an old house in central Texas. Evergreen, tall, leaves are about 4" long but very narrow, like 1/4" to 1/2", thick and dark green. Fruit looks like a juniper berry but single and much larger. Not a cedar like we have growing in the hill country, leaves are much larger, branches grow upwards instead of downwards, tree silloutte doesn't have the cedar shape. Top half of one is dead, some branches on the other are dead....would like to know how to care for and trim but I haven't seen these before. Thanks!

What kind of spider is it...?

i found a small spider on my ceiling about 1/4 of an inch across. it is almost all dark brown/black and it is plump and hairy. its legs are fairly thick too, as well as its mandables. and it has a red boomerang shape on its abdomen. my mom thougt its a brown recluse, i thought it was a baby tarantula. we live in southern california. if anyone can help me out here i need to find out asap. i may have been bitten by it as well. thank you.

Distance = Time, Light Years = Years ago?

I'm wondering if Lightyears = both time and distance, in case, I want to know if for example I look up into the sky and see a star go out/dull out into nothing and that star was 20 light years away. Now light being the fastest thing and all, representing what we see, would that mean I'm seeing something that happened 20 years ago? but has only just gotten to me? Clean Yorkie hair? It's ratty!?

What are your thoughts on the new Pepsi Throwback?

I actually was pleasantly surprised. The store was selling them for only a buck and I half-expected Pepsi to short the drink of the rich cane sugar. It's sooooo much more smooth and the aftertaste is more fresh and crisp than the regular HFCS version. The bubbles are a lot more finer and you don't get any of that "chemically" subtle taste on the mid-palette. I've had cane sugar soda before (Jones Soda) so I've been waiting for weeks for this to be released.

What a beautiful heart you have. I don't know the answer to your question but it blows my mind. I live in the country in Northern CA and I have neighbors that have acres of land but keep there poor horses penned up in 12 by 12's (I mean guys smaller than my bedroom!) and I've never even seen them out of their corrals. Its horrible. If they had a quarter acre they'd think they'd died and gone to heaven!

Actually speaking as a corpsman, it all depends on the school. there are also several programs to become a dr, nurse, ect. finishing corps school gives you some credits (15 i believe). We work hand in hand with nurses and even doctors. Sometimes we are the docs (fmf) regardless of how many credits you get, being a corpsman gives you the experience to excel when you do take the cles( that the navy pays for btw)

HELP!!! Do I say something to him?

I've met a great guy and we've been out a few times (been seeing him since December). Our schedules are opposite of each other so we don't get to spend a whole lot of time together maybe once a month. We communicate through email and by phone. Why do my parents treat me differently than my sister?

so we are about 1 1/2 years apart! we are kinda close but my parents treat her better... like for example she is in public school and i'm homeschooled, well after school they just HAVE to know EVERYTHING about her day, then they will start laughing and i will be like 'what's so funny?' and then they stop laughing and are like 'nothing just forget it' i feel soooo left out! my parents love me but they don't realize they treat my sister better than me! they just LOVE her and not me (not as MUCH they love me but just not as much) like my sister is SUPER artsy and i like art but not that much i'm just not good at it! well my sister has had her art in this 'museum' and art shows and she did a backdrop for a play and she's just got the spotlight where when i do art for my mom and give it to her she's just like 'oh thats..... nice....' and then the next day it's in the garbage. well lately i've been hanging downstairs in our room (my sis and i share a room) and then i hear them talking upstairs and my mom will ask my sister what something is and my sis doesn't know so i will run out of my room and be like 'what is what?' and then my mom is like 'oh nothing never mind' and i'm like ' i really want to know' 'just forget it!!!!!' and she yells at me for not doing something she 'told' me to do (she says she told me but i would've remembered) and i tell her she never told me anything and then she yells at me and asks my sister who then takes her side!!!! i just feel they don't care about my school or my life! oh and the one i HATE my sister is in karate, well i want to do gymnastics, and i asked my mom and dad about it (my dad is in karate with my sister) and gymnastics is on thursday nights (7:45-9:00) well we have a little sister who goes to bed at like 7:30-8:00 so i can't be in gymnastics because my little sister (gymnastics is on the same night as karate) has to sleep, well that's the only teen one otherwise i have to go to another gym and be with the 5 year olds! but anyways! what should i do? i want to be in activites but i can't because my sister has stuff like ffa, karate, an art thing, stuff like that! we live an hour away from anything big like tennis, swimming, gymnastics, yea! so what should i do? thanks! and sorry it's long!

Extreme Nearsightedness?

The strength on my contact lenses (I am not sure what it is called) is a -12.5. I've been told this is very near sighted. I cannot function without contacts in. I've had to miss school/work a few times because I was out of lenses and my gles are coke bottles. I was just wondering how this compares to other people's strengths. How nearsighted is a -12.5? Will this just keep getting worse? I had to start wearing gles in kindergarden and had to start wearing hard contact lenses when I was 10 in hopes that it would slow down my vision changes.

93 VW Cabriolet- clutch goes to floor... is it time to put the cabby to sleep?

At a light today, the clutch just stopped working- pedal goes to the floor but does not work. Was able to move it by "power shifting", but the clutch does nothing. The pedal does move the clutch arm, but the clutch does not engage (or is it disengage?- I never understood the mechanics of clutches)... any hope for an easy fix or is this a major job? a local mechanic quoted me 1100-1200 to replace the clutch... I love the car, but can't afford that. I'm not much of a mechanic, but I can follow directions.... any chance of me replacing the clutch myself? for the record- briano is the VW master in my humble opinion.... electrical problem was the load reduction relay- $6 fix.

You definitely need to take her to the vet, and try drops instead of cream, they are less stressful and messy. The towel isn't helping, and if the drops don't help, then a vet visit is necessary!

Cute or creepy?

I'm planning on having 7 bridesmaids. I've picked a dress I like, which will probably be what we go with, unless someone absolutely can't stand it. Wedding colors are red, white and black, and the men will be wearing black tuxes with red vests and ties. I was planning on having my girls in red dresses, but when I planned it out, it looked so monotone with so many bridesmaids.
